Llanelli tried to make if difficult for the Reds during the first half playing deep and defending in numbers. Ferry did manage to make the breakthrough after 28 minutes when Fleur Jenkins opened the scoring. Five minutes later Laura-May Walkley added a second sending Ferry into half time two up.
